Trades & employment
We help women find trade jobs and other work. Some jobs need qualifications. Others need practical skills or experience.

Tell us what needs doing and where. We will send it to eligible candidates based on skills, qualifications and location. Looking for work? Tell us your skills and locations. Posting a job or joining the platform creates your profile.
Eligible tradies and workers with a profile receive your job in their lead feed and can choose to accept it.

"Rania was excellent - extremely communicative and thoughtful, and gave me excellent advice and guidance throughout the process. Rania relocated my fuse box and updated all of the power points and light switches in my apartment, which required the support of a plasterer and an inspector and Rania coordinated everything for me and took all of the stress out of the process. She is super responsive and went out of her way to work with her supplier to find power points and switch covers I was happy with. I will definitely book her again and I would recommend her to anyone."
Her ElectricsRania · Electrician"Gabby was gutsy, capable, remarkable, and easy to be around. When every other carpenter and cabinetmaker saw my job on the Coaster Bus, they all had the same response; - that it was impossible to build the cabinetry on someone else's flimsy frames that were barely holding together with staples, and wanted to rip everything out and start again from scratch. Not Gabby; she said it was a challenge she was prepared to take. So she fixed, reinforced, installed extra support, and made overhead cupboards, a kitchen, a washing machine cupboard doors, and a couch with a storage box. A tv stand, even a quaint little toilet room. Upon completion, I was beyond delighted to finally see my Coaster Bus look like a home, yet sad to see Gabby go, so I started creating more jobs for her. It was fun & creative; a real achievement !! 🥰💪❤️🙏"
"Lucie is an absolute pleasure to work with! She is incredibly personable, professional, and went the extra mile to explain everything to me. I can't recommend her highly enough."
"I can highly recommend Dandelion Home Designs. Karen is a great communicator, punctual with a quick turnaround time. Incredibly professional and friendly. Having a female tradie get the job done was a positive experience. No stress whilst being in my own home and the job was done quickly with attention to details. Such as the turning of sticker labels so that they wouldn't be seen. I really appreciated her knowledge and professionalism."
"Perfect work, job done in a single day! Emma is very knowledgeable and friendly, checks in regularly. Great apprentice helping her as well! Neat and tidily cleaned up any mess. Great at explaining what's going on"

Melbourne Chippy ChickStefanie · Carpenter"Rania was awesome from start to finish. She arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and worked efficiently without cutting corners. Her workmanship was excellent — neat, safe, and exactly what I needed. She's friendly, professional, and clearly knows her stuff, which made the whole job feel easy and stress-free. She cleaned up after herself and even gave the ceiling fan a quick clean while she was working near it, which I really appreciated. I'd happily book her again for any future electrical work and recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable & well-priced electrician."
